Slack is a messaging and collaboration platform available to all UCLA students, faculty and staff. With Slack, people can work together more effectively, connect various software tools and services, and find the information they need to do their best work — all within a secure, enterprise-grade environment. UCL ISD has set up access to most of your important functions and files so you do not need a work laptop to be able to work from home. VPN Connection
Cisco AnyConnect allows a secure encrypted tunnel from your computer to UHCL's network when off campus with a wireless connection. We encourage you to download and install this on your home computer. Instructions for remote desktop into your office computer can be found at the end of this document.

Remote Connection to Your Office Computer
Remotely connect to your office computer from another computer on campus or from your home computer while connected to VPN.
The Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN) allows authorized users access to private or restricted services on the UC network from off-campus locations. You will need to log into the VPN if you are off-campus and need access to a departmental file server or restricted service, for example.
NOTE: If you are currently on the UC internal network, you will not be permitted Microsoft office for mac free download 2011. to access the VPN while on UC's campus.

Free download antivirus mac. If you download the Windows installer on Windows 10 with Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer you will need to change the file extension from .man to .msi before you can run the installer.
